The closest commercial airport servicing Gatlinburg is Knoxville's McGhee Tyson (TYS) Airport. Located a little over an hour's drive away, numerous major airlines are available. Most rental car agencies are represented, or limousine service is also available.

The Cities of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge operate an airport in Sevierville, just 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. The Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge (GKT) Airport has a 5,500 foot runway, is attended during daylight hours, and services thousands of corporate jets and private planes each year.
